General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

His pulse and hand examination for any color changes must be monitored. Also, temperature changes in both limbs should be monitored. Less likely to be in compartment syndrome at the moment but it's better to get him evaluated by a plastic surgeon. Oral and topical antibiotics and dressings may be continued.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
