Hi and welcome to health care magic.
It is unfortunate that she could not tolerate the pill.
Regarding abortion there are two ways:
1.
Medical abortion using drugs which can be done safely up to 7 weeks from the last menstrual period.
2. Surgical procedure that can be done till 12 weeks. It is more safe to do this till 10 weeks.
I would suggest you to continue
pregnancy if possible as these decisions have to be taken at some point of time in life and the earlier the better.
However every abortion is associated with some amount of minor risk and must be done under medical supervision. So if you decide for an abortion I suggest that you get her examined by a gynecologist, confirm the location of pregnancy [sometimes pregnancy occurs at location other than the
uterus like the tubes, in this case it is dangerous to give abortificient drugs], confirm the duration of gestation and then choose the method of abortion that will be safest for her.
So please do not worry, there are ways.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.
