Suggest Ways Of Reducing Sleep Time

hey, I am student in master in Sweden. I don t know why I sleep 10 h at night but I steel sleepy whole the day. I slept 6h before came here and it was enough for me. It is not just my problem, all of my friend have this trouble. I really don t have to sleep like that. we need our time. How can we decrease the sleep time? thank you, R JM

Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.

The reason you are sleeping excessively could be due to 2 things .

1. You are either Physically or Mentally strained too much when you are awake and hence your body is trying to compensate for it by sleeping more .

2. The quality of sleep is not good, you might be getting disturbed sleep ( You may not even know that ) and hence you feel sleepy when you are awake .

Solution is if you are Physically or Mentally strained too much then you need to relax and work at a slower pace . Stop straining your body or mind .

Avoid drinking Coffee or tea after 6p.m .
Avoid Alcohol.

Daily do aerobic exercise once you get up.
Avoid sleeping in afternoon.

Follow all these advises and you shall become alright.

U can dicrease the sleep time by practicing yoga or meditation, use of cns stimulants like coffee, tea..dont use smoking and other drugs to dicrease slerp time, it will spoil ur health, hope i am helpful , reply with 5 stars
