Suggest Ways To Abort The Pregnancy

Hello.. I just need some advice Doctors.Just an hour ago, I took a preg test.. Since I am delayed for 2 days now and I do have a regular menstruation each month. And wolllaaa! Its positive! Until now I am still shaky. I already have 2 kids both was born last year.. Jan and Dec, and both CS delivery. The doctor who has given birth to my last child, told me that my ovaries are already thin and it almost took my life from my previous pregnancy. So now, I am so sure that I need to terminate this pregnancy, since I have my kids that I still need to look after. But living here in the Philippines, I really dont know if someone could do surgical abortion procedure. Oh dear, I am so confused what to do.. And also is it really normal that I am feeling some abdominal cramps for four days now. It is the same feeling when I have my menstruation...

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The best and safest way a woman can do an abortion herself until the 12th week of pregnancy is with the use of two medicines namely Mifepristone and Misoprostol. Earier it is instituted, better would be the outcome.
Misoprostol causes contractions of the womb, which helps to expel the pregnancy. A woman can experience painful cramps, vaginal blood loss that is more than a normal menstruation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. There is always a risk of heavy bleeding. Success rate of abortion with the use of Misoprostol is 90%.
Mifepristone, an antiprogesterone, binds to the progesterone receptor to block the receptor, softens and dilates the cervix, helps in placental detachment and increases uterine contractions.
However, these pills need to be taken in appropriate dose as per the schedule strictly under medical supervision to avoid or tackle complications associated with the process.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for further information and management.
Wish you all the best.
