Suggest Ways To Avoid Pregnancy After Intercourse

Hi can you answer a health question? I had sex for the first time six days ago. I went to the doctor and I have a UTI. The condom fell off and im worried as I have finished my birth controls pills and im supposed to have my period mid week. It is now thursday and I havent had any symptoms of my period except some brown discharge after peeing with my UTI. I am very scared and I have a doctors appointment on monday but im afraid maybe im stressing myself out and my period wont come. I cant be pregnant and im hoping this is not the reason my period isnt here. I am really worried

Hello,

Brown discharge can indicate pregnancy even though the probability of pregnancy in your case is very low. I suggest to do a urine pregnancy test or a beta HCG test for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
