Suggest Ways To Bring Down Elevated Blood Sugar Levels

I have diabetes type 2 I currently take 18 units of lantus a day for diabetes, for the last few weeks, it has not been below 250. for the past 2 days it has been in the 300, i just took it and it is 360. I have been real thirsty today and peeing a lot. Is there something that I can do to get it down or do I need to call my primary because something is wrong?
