I have been using in ear hearing aids. often when replacing them there is a need to remove wax accumulated. usually the technician can do so with an instrument. The last time this was not the result I was told to use ear drops for 3 days and come back.the wax was still hard. I went to my ear doctor who said you should never use ear drops. she was able to remove the wax with some difficulty. I am in the same position now and am reluctant to use the ear drops again recommended by my technician.
