Hi, Fortunately, small tear or cuts like this in the vaginal and clitoral regions do heal rather quickly. These are what they call mucosal surfaces and generally heal much faster than lacerations on the skin elsewhere. Several things can be done I think to assist in the skin healing process. First, it is essential that you avoid any trauma to the area, namely avoid any sexual intercourse. Intercourse would put additional strain on the areas that are trying to heal and likely slow the repair process down considerably. Next, be sure the area is clean and as free of any bacterial overgrowth as possible, so be sure to rinse the area and even clean very gently with warm soapy water twice daily, this will help. Lastly, I generally ask that anyone with any type of wound that is healing pick up some Vitamin C 500mg tablets and Selenium 200mcg tablets. These assist in the wound regeneration process and in my experience do speed up the process, albeit only slightly. Take care. Hope I have answered your question.
