General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Rathi,

I understand your concerns.

The very first thing I advise to find out why he is having lack of appetite:
- anemia: get a complete blood count testing
- intestinal parasites: get an examination of his stool for ova/parasites
- bad diet: do not give him chips, juices, etc. near the meals as they will not let him eat.

Multivitamins containing zinc, iron can help, but need to determine if your child really lacks them.

All the best!
