Hello,
Continue to gently clean the area with brushing and rinsing. Warm salt water or your favorite dental rinse is fine. The tissue around the tooth or side of your tongue may be irritated if the remaining tooth is sharp. Try to avoid the area. Chew on the other side with a soft diet.
There are temporary filling kits available at the drug store for use if you have a small broken section. Your description indicates a larger fracture and this most likely is not an option. Had you discussed a future plan for this tooth with your dentist? Often when broken, you will need the remaining root removed. An implant with a crown is often recommended.
Your dentist can prescribe an antibiotic if you have pain and swelling indicating an infection. If you experience slight sorenes, over the counter Antiinflammitory medication such as Tylenol or Advil is recommended.
Thank you for your inquiry.

Hello
Thanks for contacting health care magic.
As from your description, it appears that your baby tooth had caries and got decayed.
I would suggest that you make a conscious effort to keep the area clean, make sure you rinse after every meal and also after you drink any liquids. Also, do not brush very hard on to that area as it might cause injury n cause pain. You can take an over the counter pain killer, just in casethere is pain.
please visit your dentist as soon as possible, as it is important to remove carious part.
Hope, the answer solves your problem.
