Thank you! My friend, male, has recently (over the last year) put on alot of weight through his mid section. Granted, his diet is poor, but it always has been. He does not run a temperature, does not drink nor smoke. I am curious to know what I might recommend he do.
Spot reduction at a particular part of the body is not possible. Overall weight reduction by diet and exercise should be followed. Abdominal exercises and stretches can be done to tone abdominal muscles. Check body weight and calculate body mass index. Body mass index calculator is available online and it requires just body weight and height. Set a weight target such as 1 to 2 kg a month. After following regular diet and exercise, check weight every week. If regularly followed, overall body weight including abdominal fat will reduce.
