Suggest Ways To Lower Alanine And Aspartate Transaminase Levels

hello my father has pancreatic cancer, he had a cycle of chemotherapy (cisplatin + gemcitabine), after that he started having problems to his liver because of cancer compression against bile ducts. They placed him a biliary metal stent, but he can t face another cycle of chemo because his alanine and aspartate transaminases aro too high. Is there a way to lower them so he can go on with the chemo?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your father is having chemotherapy induced hepatitis.
Chemotherapy drugs are known too cause liver damage and so hepatitis is common. Since his liver enzymes are elevated, we need too ✋ chemotherapy drugs at present.
He will need liver supplements like syrup Liv 52, ursodeoxy cholic acid etc.
Multivitamin tablets containing folic acid, pyridoxine, vitamin B12 and zinc are also beneficial.
High protein diet like pulses, protein powder etc is also useful in lowering liver enzymes.
Also tell him too take sugar Caine juice. All these will reduce liver injury and liver enzymes.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your father. Thanks.
