I am having trouble controlling my blood pressure, I am currently taking Carvedilol 6 .25 mg and Losartan 50 mg each 2 x day and they changed my Losartan to Lisinopril 20 mg 1 x day due to the fact I do not have insurance and cannot afford the Losartan
There is a diet plan called the DASH diet that is specifically tailored for persons with high blood pressure. You may want to try this to see if it helps.
At least 150 minutes a week of exercise is recommended as well.
In terms of medication, your doctor may want to consider adding a diuretic to your current regimen. Often the addition of a medication to help the body lose excess fluid helps to reduce blood pressure.
I hope this helps
