General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to blunt trauma. For pain you can take tablet Acetaminophen. Apply Diclofenac gel or ointment locally. In case of swelling you may require X Ray after orthopedician consultation. Restrict your movements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale
