Suggest Ways To Manage Suspicious And Accusative Behavior In Partner

I am sorry I took so long to respond. Its difficult in my household, cause I don t have privacy. I am married for 33 years this month, and I am not happy. Not been happy for about 20 years. But because I am a peacemaker I put up. The man I have been married to, has become delusional and paranoid. I could give you examples. Specifically it happened May 2 2013. Since then I deal with suspicion and aggression at times.I have not cheated, but he has graphs and diagrams of my cheat. I have been an exceptionally good wife. He suspects me. I have never been appreciated ever. Seriously. I can t take it any more. Please give me some adivice. I want to preserve what is ours if it is worth saving. But I feel ( as I cry) that I am sacrificing my spirit. Jacqueline.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There are few psychologist's therapies that can be helpful. If possible, CBT therapy. Create a friendly atmosphere, create good memories or make them remember the good times. Be compassionate to mistakes as you know the doubtful nature of theirs. You must be compassionate. Few simple things can save them like give attention to bigger goals of life, don’t focus on each other but do social services.

Stop thinking only about your problems but see people around you. They might be in big problems. Take life as an adventure and find solutions, not get miserable. What is very important for you and best is if you convince them to learn breathing exercises. That will change their thought process and make it easy to bring their mind out of the past or future and into the present, and dissolve doubts too. Do yoga also. Listen to music, bring your family home and keep them good company. Listening is motivation for them. Smile more, anyways, everyone dies at some time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
