My age is 26years.i have a baby of 3years. T4 9.58.Now I have 1300 anti tpo. When I drink cold substance and hot substance my teeth is being sensitivity. When I drink cold drinks I am feeling throught pain. Gaining heavy weight rapidly. So I concerned doctor.. Doctor told to use small doze 25mg.. What type of precautions to be used to reduce T4 and anti tpo..

Hi,

Though the cause of thyroid profile abnormalities in your case seems to be autoimmune, and is not usually related to environmental factors as you asked for precautions so no life style or dietary modifications are needed. Sometimes abnormalities in iodine intake may cause thyroid derangements so should be ruled out and iodinated salt may be used. Otherwise keep good look on heart rate and blood pressures. Thyroid profile may need to be repeated every three months.
