Hello,

PCOS might cause irregular periods and if you have not had a period in a while you might get one that is heavy and with clots. It is generally a normal thing and does not need specific treatment, the pills will help during the time you use them and will help you have regular periods but after you stop the pills you start to have irregular periods again.

Still if you are having heavy bleeding and you are over 35 years of age you will need to see your doctor to have a check of your uterus.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
