Suggest Ways To Remove Foreign Object Stuck In The Rectum

My boyfriend used my vibrator and got it stuck in his rectum. He refuses to go to the hospital. I attempted to help him last night, but everything was too swollen and the vibrator seems to be pushed up against his tailbone. He has tried squeezing it out, but the way it positioned seems to be making it nearly impossible. It is low enough that I can reach it, but the suction doesn t allow for me to yank it out. Will an enema help?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a general surgeon at the earliest and get evaluated. If delayed it might lead to complications like rectal perforation. It has to be removed with a help of a snare or colonoscopy. Do not give enema or avoid staring as it might lead to rectal perforation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
