Suggest Ways To Rule Out Sleep Apnea

I am asking about my husband. He has an open sore on his leg that has been there 2 years. It will not heal. We also think he has sleep apnea because he stops breathing while sleeping, and his snoring has become worse over the years. So now, he is tired, irritated, there is a sore in his mouth, as well as the open sore on his leg which is about 3 inches in diameter. He has gone to a primary physician for the open sore, but the doctor would only see him for that one complaint, gave him some cream that did not work, and sent him home.

Sleep Apnea is common in people who are
Over weight
Have a large neck size more than 17 inches
Nasal obstruction due to a deviated septum
Have large tonsils, smaller jaw bone
Have a family history of sleep apnea

sleep apnea is diagnosed by Nocturnal Polysomnography test.

if left untreated Sleep Apnea can cause blood pressure , work related injuries and motor vehicle collision.
For your other issue of Non healing ulcer see a Specialist General Surgeon / Plastic surgeon
