Suggest Ways To Stop Breakthrough Bleeding While On Karissa
Hello. I take karissa for 5 months now. And this month, in my third week of pills, I got a breackthrough bleeding. Today is the 3rd day. The blood is brown, and today is midly increase in flow and like diluated, but still brown. How can I stop this bleeding? It is ok if I won t take the 7 day pause at the end of this pack? So, that I won t have my monthly bleeding? I have 4 more of it.
It is better to take take the seven day pause as scheduled because taking a break from the drug is essential to reduce breakthrough bleeding.
It is always important to take the drug at the same time everyday to reduce any breakthrough bleeding.
Continuous use of the drug is not recommended since endometrial proliferation should be followed by shedding inorder to remove all the products and maintain uterine physiology.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
