How can I stop concor 5mg?I have been taking it since 2009. Actually one day I had some heavy meal, the next day I experienced high heart rate like 130.....I went to ER and the doctors put me on Concor 5 mg.....later on after few months I found out that I usually experience it after having heavy meals or spicy meals....when I asked the doctors to stop it....they all told me not to because it cant be stopped.....but i believe that it can be stopped....Need your help on this matter.....Sohail
In Concor 5 mg, you can drop to 2.5 mg with regular check up of heart rate, BP and ECG! For 3 weeks, if everything is stablized then drop to 1.25 for few weeks and then you may drop it. You must learn meditation! It naturally helps in all your above history! This can be very beneficial in your case!
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
