Suggest Ways To Wean Off Restoril

Hi, I am 49 yrs old with fibromyalgia and recovering from a lifetime of traumatic experiences. I have been taking generic Restoril for 10 yrs. I am at 22.5 mg from 30mg per night. I do want to get off of it, but when I don t take it I absolutely do not sleep. I think I can eventually find a way to sleep once I find a way to taper off this medicine. What is the best way?

Hi,

Take temazepam only when you are getting ready for several hours of sleep. You may fall asleep very quickly after taking the medicine. Do not take temazepam unless you are able to get a full night's sleep before you must be active again.
