Good Afternoon! Dr. I am 9 months pregnant, the result of my urine laboratory i had a urine infection, This is my result Pus Cell : 4-6/ hpf,
Red Cell : 0-1/ hpf
Epithelial Cell : Many
Amorphus Urates: Moderate
I'm just worried, It may affect to my unborn baby? thank you so much

hi,you are suffering from urinary tract infection.drink plenty of water min 10 to 12 glasses a day.take cranberry juice.take syrup alkasol 2 tsf in 1 glass water 3 times a day.send urine for culture sensitivity.after sending urine specimen start nitrofurantoin 100 mg twice a day for 7 days.dont worry it will have no effect on the unborn baby but yes if left untreated it can cause premature labour.take care and all the best.
