Suggestion Of Cure For Symptoms Causes Flu
Hi! I have been having flu like symptoms the past 2 days. I have a bad headache and neck ache, stomach is bloated and hurts,chills. I have had nausea but no vomiting. I just brushed my teeth and noticed a black bruised area on left side of my tongue. I am scared, what is it?

Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Bleeding and bruising during brushing during fever can indicate low platelet count (Thrombocytopenia).
I would advise you to get tested:
1. Hemogram
2. Dengue Serology
3. Malaria Antigen
You should not take any medicines other then Paracetamol.
Consult your doctor immediately.
