Sweaty Feet, Blisters On Heels Which Eventually Pop, Become Itchy And Inflamed. What To Do ?
Hi Doctor, I have always had sweaty feet, (they do not smell) but in the last two & half years in winter I get like a blister on my heels, it appears on one heel & then to the other heel, eventually they seem to pop, & the skin breaks, they become very itchy & inflamed at night., after my bath. (I have been rubbing several creams on but does not seem to help) During the day my heels are very painful it feels as though I am walking on pins. (even when I am sitting I can feel the pain in the heel. (the pain comes and goes) Please help. I am 54 years old Thanks AAAA
Hello, Thanks for the query. you might be suffering from an endogenous eczema. Similar presentation can also be seen in fungal infection of leg called as tinea pedis. Please apply a combination of steroid and antifungal agent.
