Swelling In Clitoral Hood, Painful Cyst. Help

Hi I am a 40 year old woman and over the last 6 months on three separate occasions I have had swollen clitorial hood and a cyst or abscess has formed on the right side which are painful, I have noticed this has occurred when I am on my period, what can be cursing this to happen and do I need to see my doctor, I have treated this by bathing and keeping the area clean, I have had fevers and treated them by taking pain killers, please help. I have never experienced anything like this before and would like it to go for good.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having recurrent ingrown hair follicle infection.
During period local hygiene is affected even you try to keep clean and having unhealthy local part chance of having infection is more.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course.
During period keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy.
Change sanitary pads frequently.
Ok and take care.
