Swelling In Fingers, Arm Pain, Purple Discolouration, Movement And Feeling Present In Arm. Treatment?

Hi, Im a 27 yr old female. I beat up my ex for something he deserved a beating for. Among other things i punched him in the head over 20 times swelling my fingers and whole hand in minutes. This happened 2 days ago and now my whole arm hurts and swelled as well. The hand swelling went down a bit but its all purple. I got movement and feeling not sure if i should seek medical care.

Hello,
Thanks for writing in.

It looks like you were really upset and this led you to beating someone including punching 20 times. It is scary and I just hope it doesnt happen again.

Please take a consultation from an orthopedician to make sure you havent broken any of the small bones in your hand. A x ray will rule out any possible injuries.

Some of the fracture in the hand bones are clinically not reported as the swelling and pain is not much.

Hope this helps.
