Swelling In Penis And Scrotum, Infection, Have Chills, Scab. Had Urinalysis, Culture Chlamydia. On Ciprofloxacin. Need Help

Swelling at the base of penis/scrotum. I'm sure it is some sort of infection because I have chills. A scab formed on my scrotum, even though I did not scratch or cause the scab by scratching. After visit with my doctor, he treated me for epididymitis with Ciprofloxacin, which didn't work. Had urinalysis with reflex to microscopy and culture chlamydia /GC which came back negative. It feels like someone lit a match, blew it out and touched it to the outside of my scrotum. This is the 2nd time I've had it and was treated last time with Ciprofloxacin which worked (I think coincidentally). This occurrence has been going on for 2 weeks now. It's painful and won't go away. Can you help?

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
acquired sever infection of your genitals and scrotum due to sex mostly unprotected sex.

Please get your basic test to rule out STD done.and consult qualified Physician or specialist in sexually transmitted diseases for further treatment.

Take broad spectrum antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily for 2-3 weeks .

Avoid sexual activities till it gets cured completely.
