Swelling In Pubic Area. Sexually Active. Problem?

Hi there,

I have noticed that I appear swollen in my pubic area, It appears puffy and fat, can you please advise what this could be? I worked hard at the gym the other day on my abs, which were very sore all week and I have been sexualy active this past week and a half, but all of a sudden I have noticed this puffiness and have no idea what it could be?

Hello,

Swelling and puffiness in pubic area may represent bacterial infection. Labial and bartholin cysts are the other causes. STD is also to be ruled out.

Here, you need to consult with gynecologist to perform pelvic examination and take suggestive measures according to test reports. Maintain genital hygiene.
