Swelling In The Tail Bone And Abdomen. Colon Removed Due To Diverticulitis. Any Solution?

Hi, my steps are split, 6 then landing then another 6. When I got to the bottom set my foot slipped at the top and my feet went out from under me and I landed right on my butt and back in the middle of the steps. My back hurt when it happened but it was okay then. My tailbone was and is still sore but what makes me wonder is my abdomen is sore. Completely across the front. Don't know if this matters but I had 18 inches of my colon removed in November due to Diverticulitis. I am 29, yes 29 years old, I know that is odd, trust me. Don't think it is my colon at all since I recovered rather well from the surgery and I know what an attack feels like. Oh. its across but right below my belly button kind of making a smile on my stomach

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns and you seem to have been going through a lot lately. It seems to me that you broke your tailbone only (since you have not reported an disc prolapses or herniations) and I understand that this can be very painful. I am sorry to hear this and I hope you got the right medications to get yourself treated. I also believe that the pain below your belly button is related to your surgery. Referred pain is what it is called and you could have something going on in you belly and you feel it on your abdomen. This could just be a healing process, however it would not harm to let your doctor know this and your doctor might schedule an ultrasound scan or schedule an appointment to let you know that you need a physical examination to try finding out what is going on. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
