Swelling In Upper Chest And Stomach. Suggested Protonix. Diagnosed For Sliding Histel Hernia Few Years Back. Remedy?

I am a 65 yr old woman. I was diagnosed with a sliding hiatel hernia approx 12yrs ago. The dr prescribed Protonix after trying many others and the pain and discomfort of swelling subscided. Stopper taking Protonix approx 8 yrs ago without any problems. I recently lost my Mom, my dearest friend and now I am in extreme pain in my upper chest and stomach. I feel like I need to throw up and the pain is excruciating. I called my Dr and he said to start taking protonix again. I did so three days ago, but I actually have pain, and lots of hard swelling in my upper chest and stomach. I don't know what to do to relieve this pain and swelling? can u help me

Hello,
Thanks for posting the question to H.C.M. Forum.
Tension ( stress) induced hyper acidity is the main cause of your illness.
Protonix , you are taking , continue it as such.
Also use antacid syrup ( contains oxetacaine) .
In few cases i got very good result with rebamipide 100 mg 2-2. Take this drug after consultation with your treating doctor.
If no relief within 5-6 days then consult a psychiatrist and get his treatment .
Don't be so desperate as you will recover within short period.
