Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your mother is an elderly diabetic and hypertensive on oral drugs for treatment.
Recently she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis for which she is on steroids.
Now she is complaining of dizziness.
It is well documented that steroid therapy causes hyperglycemia.
Hyperglycemia may be the cause of her problems.
If the itching in the neck is due to carbuncle then it is a sure sign of hyperglycemia.
