Swelling On Base Of Penis, Loss Of Sensitivity. Possible Reason?

I went to the restroom earlier and noticed a small amount of swelling at the base of my penis. On the right side of my penis there is a swollen area right where it seems like a vein may be. It is very noticeable, there is no pain, in fact there may be a loss of sensitivity to pain in the affected area. All other areas of my penis are normal with normal sensitivity. I also checked by testes and checked for any lumps, but felt nothing.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Swelling at the base of penis may be due to enlarged lymph node or hematoma .
Draining lymph nodes may become enlarged as this is the site for superficial lymph nodes.
Hematoma is also a possibility.
Loss of sensitivity may be due to inaccurate assessment. Consult your surgeon if necessary.

Take Care
