Swelling On Neck After Itchiness. Taking Allercet Syrup. Have Recurrent Itching Problem.

Hi, My son is 6 yrs old.He used to play outside near the trees and plants. He gets itchiness after 6 pm., and immediately small sometimes big swelling came around neck ., one particular area only. After consulting the DR. im giving Allercet syrup .if i give, no itching. if i stop ,then after 2 days its coming.. Since one month he is suffering from itching problem, pls, suggest me..( he likes to eat more chocos and chocolate) and advice some nutritients food with intervals. thank u / padma raghvan. bangalore.

Thanks for choosing HCM..,
Swelling around the neck ...that too particular part...,
means ....it could be Contact Dermatitis..,
So see the contact object at that area..,
If these swellings appears allover the body...,
may be URTICARIA......cause is uncertain...
may be...worms in the intestines,food (endoallergens),
exoallergens like pollens from plants....
So evaluate...consult good dermatologist...

Your son might have urticaria.Urticaria if untreated may be last longer.
you need to contact your doctor again to diagnosed it properly.
he might requires steroids.
