Swelling, Redness, Itching After Bitten By Yellow Jack In Finger. Prescribed Cefadroxil, Prednisone. Swelling Persist. Correct Medication?

I was bitten by a yellow jack today on my right index finger. It caused swelling, redness around the whole area into the hand & itchiness. I went to an Urgent Care Center & was prescribed CEFADROXIL 500 mg capsules; also
PREDNISONE 5 MG Tablets. I started the treatment but the area is still swollen & seems to be spreading upward into my outer hand. Is it too soon to see results. The swelling area has a small hole indicating the bite sight. That is the puffy area. Am I on the right track for cure?
