Swelling, Tingling And Numbness In Right Leg, Shortness Of Breath, Feeling Lightheaded Postpartum. Will It Go Away Soon?

I am 7 days postpartum & experienced right leg only swelling, tingling & numbness. The swelling has gone down as long as I stay off of it, however now I have shortness of breath & lightheaded. My OB said no problem but I don't feel well & it wakes me up @ night. Will this go away soon?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Based upon your symptoms I must doubt about deep vein thrombosis which is common during pregnancy. I suggest you to have a doppler usg done for that to rule out dvt. As it got more complications like lodging of emboli in different organs I suggest you to consult a surgeon about this soon. Thank you.
