Swollen Clitoris, Brownish Liquid Applied To Treat Genital Warts. Advise?

Hi

I was very stupid and treated genital warts on my own without seeing a doctor. I was so embaressed that I asked the pharmacist for wart removal. She gave me a brownish liquid and I started using it. It burned but the warts fell off. Now, my clitoris is swollen and the area where I put the liquid, is very very sensitive.

HELP me please!

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

Do not be embarassed about this - it is actually quite common. It is not appropriate, though, to just treat this on your own. Any OB/GYN can see you, make a correct diagnosis, and tell you how it should be treated. You also should be screened for other STD's. Stop using the current medications, soak and dry the area twice daily, and apply some hydrocortisone cream as needed until you are seen by your OB/GYN.

I hope that this helps!
