Swollen Glands In Neck, Swelling In Ears And Side Of Face, Sore Throat. How Long Will It Take For Symptoms To Go?
I think I had an allergic reaction to clams I ate on Wed. night. I woke up Thurs. with very swollen glands in my neck and the swelling in up to my easr and side of my face. Also sore throuht, and some red spots in my mouth and throuht. also have some bumps in the back of my neck and painful to touch. Is theis consistant with an allergic reaction, and how long does it take to go away. Thank you

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
With the symptoms it may be due to allergic responce or due to infection. Do salt water gargle and take NSAID with anti histamie drug. Consult your doctor once for examination and to diagnose it. You may require antibiotic if infection or steroids if it is due to allergy. Based on the diagnosis it may take around 3-7 days for complete cure. Hope I answered your question.
