Swollen Groin Lymph Node, Swelling Only When Menstruating. Negative Pcp, Std Tests. What Could Be This?
I'm a 30 yr old female with swollen groin lymph node. It only seems to swell only when I'm menstruating. I've seem my pcp and she ran std testing as I had my cpe last month.. All testing negative.. Hsv, hiv, gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, etc... We tried antibiotics... No help.. Its been this way for about a year and a half. The swelling comes and goes, but never actually goes away... Now is maybe around 3 or 4 inchs long... Yes inches, not cm. Should i see my obgyn instead of my pcp? My pcp just wants to play the wait and watch game.
Hi, it appears to be the inguinal hernia, or may be an inguinal lymph node, visible when there are contractions of the uterus. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have U.S.scanning to find out the diagnosis. Thank you.
