Swollen Lymph Nodes In Neck And In Front Of Left Ear, Rash O Scalp, Forehead, Eyelid, Painful Nerve Like Feeling. Is It Because Of Contact Dermatitis?

swollen painful lymph nodes in neck and in front of left ear. Also, rash with poison ivy like postules on scalp, forehead, upper eyelid and eyebrow; left side as well. Painful nerve-like feelings come and go in same area as rash. No fever. Dr. ruled out shingles and now thinks contact dermatitis and placed me on topical steriods. What are your thoughts?

Hi i think the rash on scalp.forehead.ears can be seborrhic dermatitis.there will be enlargement of lymph nodes too.it should be treated with atarax 25 mg at night.antibiotic twice daily and application of momate f ointment in the day time and keto b ointment in the night and flucanazole 150 mg weekly once and using konaz ct shampoo over the scalp can cure it
