Swollen Rings On Legs Seem Like Socks Irritation, Stinging. Reasons ?

My daughter put on a pair of socks last night and slept in them when ahe woke to take them off she had two half circle rings appearing to be a sock irritation we thought it would disappear after a while but after a full day they are still there they appear to look as if they resemble a burn a curling iron would make raised slightly and swollen they do not itch at all but sting slightly what in the world could this be?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

Yes it is possible that she might have developed an allergic reaction.

Usually it is itchy but even stinging can be there.

Apply a mild steroid lotion like desonide,

Also give her an antihistamine tablet like levocetrizine.

This will give her some relief.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
