Swollen Uvula, Sore Jaw After Taking MDMA. Difficulty Drinking, White Spots On Uvula, Headache

So I did mdma a couple days ago, ya I know it's bad so please save me the lecture. I've done it a few times before and every time I have I usually get a swollen uvula and a sore jaw from clenching my teeth, i dont drink anythint on it because I find it hard to drink anything. It's usually fine the next day, but this time I started getting strep throat symptoms. A couple white spots on my uvula, swollen things on both the sides just behind the uvula and the next day I was throwing up for half the day and now my throat still feels somewhat painful to swallow and I've had a headache since

Hello,

Thanks for posting,

Well if this will assure you, I will like to start by saying that I do not think first hand that your symptoms are related to MDMA use but rather you seem to have developed uvulitis and probably oropharyngitis with the most like causative germ being a fungi infection rather than a strep bacteria (because of whitish plaques found).
MDMA mostly have affects the nervous system.
What you need to do now is get treatment for the oral candidiasis which includes a course of antifungi such as fluconazole. You might require a throat swap to rule out strep throat as that could also be possible.
You will require to see a primary care physician.

Hope this helps
