Taken Kenolog For Rash On Face. Have Celiac Disease. Help

I am 62 years old, exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet and recently developed a rash on my face that looks like a bad case of acne . I was treated a month ago at a stat care and was told it was contact dermatitus. I received a shot of kenolog. The rash subsided however new spots continue and the rash can change from day to day. I also have celiac disease and maintain a gluten free diet.

Hi,

Kenalog improved your rash, suggests that the rash on face would either allergic or irritant contact dermatitis.

The cause would be some allergen or irritant.

Soap,dust,fume,grass,sunrays,pollutant,perfume,powder,cosmetics..etc can cause such type of rash.

Take antihistaminics and steroid in tappering dose for short period.

Apply mild steroid with antibiotics.

You may be improved.

Avoid the suspected culprit for the prevention of relapse.

You may consult dermatologist for perfect treatment.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
