Hi my period started on the 1st of june and ended on or about the 5th june.I took the first postinor 2 pill on the 6th on june and the second pill about 12 hours after. On the 13th of june I saw another period that ended on the 16th of june which is today and i'm experienceing sore nipples and breast with a lot of nausea. what could be the cause of all this
Hi thanks for your question. The second period which your mentioning is not your normal monthly period, but this is bleeding due postinor 2, which is normal after emergency contraception. The sore nipple, tender breast and nausea all are side effects of postinor 2.Hope fully will get settle in few days. Nausea could be due to gastritis it might have produced, you can take proton pump blocker like pantoprazole 40 mg daily before breakfast for a week. Hope this answers your question.
