Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since , you are using premarine ( estrogen ) 1.25 mg from last 28 years. Please not e down that decrease level of estrogen develops menopause syndrome . But you are using estrogen from last 28 years , so there was no menopause. Now have withdraw estrogen ( on doctor's advice) so above mentioned symptoms ( mood swings, legs & feet points, heart beat ) are due to withdrawal of premarine.
Your doctor prescribed estrdiol , so please use this drug and gradually you will adjust according to situation. In my opinion , you should not take premarine again . This will be an addiction. Good luck. Dr. HET
