Taken Sitrodin, Menapur, Evatone. Scan Shows Follicle In Ovary. What Does It Mean?
Hi,
I have taken sitrodin 150iu for 6 days, on my Day 9 scan the follicle in left ovary is around 6.5 mm. I have been asked to take sitrodin 150 iu and menapur (hmq) injections along with evatone 2mg tab for another 4 days. They have asked to come again for scan on 4th day, which will be my Day 13. What does it mean and why is it necessary?

You are given drugs for ovulation.
Your condition needs regular monitoring of follicle size which is important for pregnancy. Dominant follicle comes out of ovary on 14th day of last menstrual period.
So,your doctor has asked to come on 13th day and on this day follicle size will be maximum.
