Taken Gadobutrol. Noticed Dark Brown Nails With Grooves And Cracks. Use Rubber Gloves. What Can I Do?

after i was injected gadobutrol,had the mri,days later i noticed changes in my nails,they started to turn dark brown,grooves stared to appear,cracks start showing,they snaged on my clothing,so i had to apply adhesive tape around each finger,i had to keep triming my nails,then i decided to use a nail mender made by avon,i must add that some of my nails had distorted,and i use rubber gloves to keep dirt from under my nails.

I am Dr Gaurav Patel,dermatologist.
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem.
It is difficult to comment only from detail.
It may be related to medicine but we have to rule out other skin condition causing damage to nail.
You need to apply good barrier cream.
Calcium level also take into consideration.
Better to consult dermatologist and start proper medicine.
In nail you need to take medicine for 6-8 month.
Keep them dry and clean.
