Taken Tetanus Shot After Getting TB Test. Spots On Body, Itching. Using Cortisone Cream. Help
Hello I am a 42 yr old female, and for a job at daycare, I had to get a TB test done, and while there I received a tetanus shot. a day later I began to see these black (I'm African American if that makes a difference) spots showing up and they all over my torso, mostly under my right breast, on the side of my under arm, then on my legs, my stomach and I'm itching all over. I've tried using cortisone anti-itch cream to sooth the itching. I do have problems with eczema every once in a while but these spots are a mystery to me. help.
hi, these itching may be unrelated to tetanus vaccine. tetanus vaccine also causes some hyper immune reactions, but on the limb where it is taken, its local reaction.to give cause of black spots on the torso, it is better to meet your dermatologist. kindly don't use steroid ointment or cream so frequent. because that adds to difficulty of dermatologist to diagnose even after seeing it, as it alters the true nature of lesions.
wish you good health
