Taking Atenol For Blood Pressure. Itching In Face Not Relieved With Antihistamines And Steroid. Can Take Aspirin With Atenol?

Hi, I am taking 50mg Atenol for blood pressure daily for the last 2 year.. I am suffering from an itch in my face for the last 6-7 years on an off but pretty severe at the moment, to the extent where it wakes me from my sleep. My doctor has prescribed antihistamines and steroids to no avail. I have an appointment on Wed with a dermatologist.I m told that this itch may be an indication that I could have a stroke. Can I take blood thinning (aspirin) medication with the Atenol?

Dear sir

Atenolol is a beta receptor blocker which has a side effects of flushing occasionally..

But if you are getting itching it might be due to allergy to one of your drugs. So instead of taking steroids and antihistaminics try to change over the drugs and look for the effects.

Secondly aspirin and atenolol is not available in the market but you can take the both the tablets.

Thanks
