Taking Celexa From A Long Term, Encounter Problems On Switching To Other Generic Brand. Which Generic Are Rated The Highest?

Hi. I have been on Celexa for around 11 years now. I have problems switching from one generic Celexa to another when the pharmacies change the pill. Some work better than others. My question is which generic Celexa pills are rated the highest and which contain not gluten and the least corn starch as I have Celiac disease and problems with corn.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities.

Instead of celexa, you can ask the pharmacist for citalopram (that is the drug name) and they will show you all the brands that offer it. Each country in the world has different brands available so without knowing your country of origin I cant say which drug is available in your country.
Citalopram, is an antidepressant drug, as such it has nothing to do with your gluten allergy and wont affect it. So you dont have to worry. If you are taking any other medications, please inform your doctor about them as sometimes drug interactions can lead to unwanted results.

I hope this answered your question.
